When I earned my business degree, I knew I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to be both creative and analytical. I had a knack for storytelling and found solace through my writing. While studying abroad in Europe, I created a travel blog, which I used as an outlet to share my personal stories, how-to travel guides, and any other content that I thought would be valuable to fellow study-abroad students.

When I returned to California, I immediately looked for an opportunity that allowed me to continue to write and tell stories while also gaining strategic marketing experience. I wanted to turn my love for writing into a career. That's when I started a content marketing internship at one of the best digital marketing agencies in San Diego, California. This defining decision was that AHA! moment that gave my early career direction and taught me the foundational knowledge I needed to launch my profession forward.

While working at a digital marketing agency, I was exposed to a wide variety of industries, products, and services. Because of the diversity in my projects, I learned how to position my writing to cater to each brand's unique needs and mold to different personas. This invaluable skill has allowed me to shape my writing to adapt to any project's specific needs and challenges.

Today I find that one of the greatest pleasures working in this profession is that I have the privilege of helping my clients build brand awareness, tell their story, and give their organization a voice all while attracting new eyes to their product or service. By looking at each project through a strategic lens, I ensure that my clients publish unique, engaging content while staying one step ahead of their competition.
